Re: The food thread!
I think better to say it as <You Know Who> to make it more, mysterious
A strange thing about eating paper: King Menelik of Ethiopia ate the whole Book of Kings (if you're Christian, you know what is it), after he knew that he got a heart strike....

Hey all of you, BACK TO TOPIC. Just because it's the inn, doesn't mean you can go completly off topic. If you want to continue to disscus this, go to the lounge!

I like Zanran, talking of search engines. It only gives you PDFs, though.

Re: The food thread!
I do like pizza, but I like Turkish pizza more than Italian pizza, needless to say I loathe those thick-crust American monstrosities.

I also like Turkish pizza, but I like Italian more. Because the Turkish pizza doesn't have cheese...
But anyway, are their other people who like :albino: ?

Re: The food thread!
I've had deer, wild boar and duck, but I've never eaten rabbit. I think it'll taste quite good though. I once talked to a person who'd once had fox for dinner, he said it was pretty enjoyable.
@spango: As an expat in Thailand you'll be able to answer this: Do Thai people really eat dogs by the hundreds, or do they rarely do it?

Re: The food thread!
I think you shouldn't eat predators, or maybe even no animal at all. But I'm not sure...

Re: The food thread!
Muslims can't eat predators I think. Thai people don't eat dogs, they only kill them because there are so many stray dogs wandering on the streets that might hurt people. Speaking of dog-eating countries, the two Korea's and Communist China all eat dogs. Taiwan's dog eating is banned long ago.

There is dog satay and something food made from dog flesh in Middle Java and Jogjakarta. There is also rabbit satay, horse satay, dove satay, deer satay, everything made into satay, even the small clams...

Re: The food thread!
Actually Spang, I know quite a few people from South Korea, they told me they don't eat dogs in South Korea. Although there's still the north...
Re: The food thread!
You know what, my friend is a South Korean-Taiwanese too, and he said his mom LOVES dog meat. Believe it, or not.

The Maori in NZ eat dogs. They rear them as livestock.

Re: The food thread!
Hmm, that's odd. I know somebody who is originally from Thailand and he says he's had dog meat multiple times. But then perhaps that's 'cause he's from some town in the countryside, not from actual Krungthepmahanakhonamornrattanakosinmahintarayudthayamahadilokpohpnoparatrajathaneebureeromudomrajniwesmahasatarnamornpimarnavaltarnsatitsakatattiyavisanukramprasit.

PS: I obviously had to look that up, I'm not such a geek that I would actually know the full name of Bangkok.
