While this thread is certainly too spammy for my taste, I quite enjoyed the original idea. And to be honest, I think it'd be even possible to do this in AoE3. Since it would definitely require new models, doing new animations wouldn't be a big deal either. It's just quite a big job to do.

Fun fact: The last game that I developed with my fellows in university plays on a stomp, where 4 bugs (that look a little like ants) fight for supremacy!

That is why I left his stupid thing just as an idea, maybe you'd like to take it for your next project.

The idea is actually good, I believe it has plenty of potential, since it would be an unique take on the genre, it's just that you haven't taken it serously enough, but truly, it could make a good and innovative game, something very needed on a stale genre like what RTS gaming is.

Kinda reminds me of the Worms game series... except that with ants instead of, well, worms.

This is actually funny, the idea is one years old, and people get attracted to look at it only after prologue launched... fail.

I actually wouldn't call this a fail, but a success. One could put it like that: You wisely chose the nearness to the K&B community to profit from its audience.

Well, the idea is that no building will be destroyed. The game idea is purely based on what I see and what we see in the nature. Insects do not destroy their opponent's habitat, they use it instead or just leave it alone.

Well, there will be no player color in the idea. Player color is suck. Instead, animal has some strange unique motifs, that is the one who will differs each player.

Resemble beetle family. Uniqueness:  the mobile civ,instead of buildings they have command beetles,that can move anhywhere
Bonus:
- units can switch beetwen land mode, and aereal mode where they move faster and cannot be hit, but cannot attack
UU:
1. bombardier beetle: canon-like unit. Cost 100 material and 400 honey . Worth 400 nutrition.
2. scarab: the strongest unit in-game,cannot fly. Cost 3000 nutrition and 2000 honey. Worth 2000 nutrition.
