@iliander: Finnish is relatively hard language to learn, especially our many grammatical cases are hard to learn.

@Pepp: I didn't notice any grammar mistakes in your German. I should start practising it too, because I'm going to exchange to Germany, for a week. Cool

After I'm finished with my four years at my current university, I'm thinking of taking Arabic at another one (Since I'm majoring in Holy Land Crusades, Arabic would be helpful to learn..).

I've always had the idea of taking a course (on whatever level it may be) in Turkish, but that's more because I think it's an interesting and beautiful language than for any practical reason...

Arabic is also one of the most used languages in the world. If I know Arabic, I could get a job anywhere (Added that I finish my german as well).

A lot of big businesses are German. Knowing it increases you chance of getting a job in it. And it's easy to learn since English derives from German.

Well, I'd like to counter that. Sure, English derives from German, but that's mostly old English, the current vocabulary has more to do with French, and the current grammar has hardly anything to do with any other Germanic language in the world.

Actually, grammar is one of the main issues with German, and one of the main reasons why many Dutch people (me included) choose to learn French instead of German. German vocabulary may be close to Dutch, their grammar is completely different, and (for me at least) incredibly complicated. French is completely the other way round, really... There's hardly any shared vocabulary with Dutch, but the grammar is almost exactly the same, and even if it wasn't, French grammar is a damn side easier to learn than German grammar.

I just always get dissy with 'der', 'das' and 'die' in German, I just can't remember them... The grammar rules in German aren't so complicated, but the words are hard. Or maybe it's because I don't hear or use German anywhere, so I don't learn it.

I wasn't sure about where I should ask this, so I end up here. :lol:

I'm currently making a Scenario (a RPG actually), but I've got 2 trigger problems:

Spoiler:

1. When playing the Scenario, Player 2 (yellow) receives 6 Settlers and resource crates at their Town Center, I tried to disable it with SPC NoSettlerShipment (or similar), but it doesn't work.
2. I don't want Player 1 (blue) being able to see everything Player 2 (yellow) and 3 can see (brown), but I also don't want them to be able to attack each other. I tried to search for treaty triggers, but I can't find any!

Let's change the subject!!! I hate those damn toothbrush commercials that have this advanced design cleaning in "hard to reach areas". Like some on, when they show the brushing animations, they don't even have the manual brush brushing in the deep down areas that the new design one is going to. I have a manual brush, and I have no problem getting every angle of my teeth brushed. It annoys me how these toothbrush corporations are getting people to buy these 50$ or so toothbrushes when a simple 5$ one would suffice.

That's simply not true. I have an electric tooth brush, and when it broke lately and I temporarily had to do it all manual again, I could really feel the difference. Also, I don't know how prices are in Canada, but in the Netherlands you can buy an electic toothbrush for as little as €15.-

I don't know man. I had an electric toothbrush, and I felt no real difference in the brushing qualities. And like you, I don't know if 15e is a lot. But in Canada, 50$ for a toothbrush is quite expensive. A family size meal at the A&W in town in about 23$. So a toothbrush costing more than an average meal... But hey, I think manuals are the same as electric, you think otherwise. But what I think we can both agree on is that in the commercials, the manual should be cleaning in the exact same areas the one being represented are.

I know something about triggers, but nothing about those triggers. You should go to Aoe3 Heaven and ask there, usually there is someone who can help you.
