Color Uniform Database
I'm amazed that there isn't a thread on this on Wotta forums. So I'll make one here. Well actually there is a similar thread, but its naming of "Military Customs" makes it hard to find for someone who isn't familiar with interpretting people who don't speak English as a first language.
This thread can include medieval as well, ut my posts will all e on the 18th and 19th centuries.
Here are some links I found on Wotta:
link 1
link 2
Here is an image I found on Facebook that is the first color image of infantry and cavalry uniforms for American Revolution through WWI all in the same image that I've found:
Now here I'm going to fix the roken picture links in link 1 for the Americans and Confederates:

I'm not sure. It does bare an erie resemblance to him...
I just realized that r.i.f.l.e. is now a censored word and it will say salad when I try to type it.
Georgia Militia Clinch Salads Regiment (some laughter ensued)
Edit: I just realized that L.O.L is censored too haha
Re: Color Uniform Database
I know there's some people on TWCenter who do excellent representations of historical uniforms, though I'm afraid I'm too lazy to actually look them up...

Re: Color Uniform Database
I used to have links for lots upon lots of different forums and webpages in general for illustrations of units from pretty much anywhere, I had to have them due to the obscure civs we add to WotTA sometimes (Paraguay FTW!).
But, since it has been a long time since I had to research units for a new civ, I fear I may have forgotten or lost most of them...
