Swearing words aren't censored. There's no point anyway. A row of asterisks is no more vague than the word "fuck", the meaning is fairly obvious either way, so there's no real reason to attempt to hide it. The fact you thought swearing would be censored here is testimony to the sheer lack of swearing on these forums; there's no need to censor people when they behave properly by default, if there ever is any need for it in the first place...

Most of the censoring we do have consists of Dieter traps.

The Hope Rustic Way to Prepare and Drink Mate

It is Rather Conventional

Ingredients:
1. Unlike Pepp I'm not so much of a purist, that said, Mate is usually sold in two formats, powdered or more strawy, I prefer the latter.
2. Some Purists will tell you that Mate is better served alone, I for one disgress, as Tahattus has said before, the taste is rather grassy, while I'm not completly in agreeance with him, I admit the taste is rather hard to get used to, so mixing it with Mint or other herbs is often welcome.
3. Warm wáter, more like lukewarm actually. Never hot, Mate actually tastes horrible with hot water, also, it may be potentially unhealthy.
4. If you're gonna drink sugar, do it by mixing it with your water, most purists will drink it raw, but the taste is rather strong and bitter, so two or even three teaspoons for a liter should do, don't pour it over your herb though, it'll have no effect.

Materials:
1. A Gourd, a Wooden one preferably, or silver one if you feel being fancy. I've seen people prepare Mate in teacups, but it's just not the same.
2. A Straw with a filter at the bottom, if you somehow managed to find Mate, odds are that you're gonna find one of these close by. Buy them metallic, the Wooden ones are pretty much useless, once again, Silver if you're feeling fancy.
3. A Vacuum Flask to carry your water, unless you want to add sugar to your Water Boiler/Kettle for some reason.

Steps to prepare the Mate:
1. Heat your Water, but don't wait until it Boils, rather, just make sure it's lukewarm or, if it does boil, wait for it to cold.
2. To prepare the mate, putpour the herb into the gourd filling at most1/3 of it.
3. Turn the Gourd some 45° Sideways and put the Straw inside it.
4. Pour Cold Water into the Gourd, not much, only enough to get the herb wet, make sure the Straw stay in position while doing this.
5. Eliminate any excess water.
6. Pour your heated water into the Gourd.

How to drink the Mate:
The ideal way to Drink Mate is with Friends, around a campfire or something, it's a pretty social activity so go and pass the Gourd so the next person may drink with it, don't be shy, there's enough water for everyone.
Don't even think about moving the Straw, it'll cause a mess.
Drink it slowly, remember it's like concentrated Coffee, you don't want your heart all pumped up and Speedy, now do you?
