A bit chaotic, perhaps. I suggest you reduce lighting in some parts.
The city streets are very well made though, and what is that church on your right?

That's from the Jesuit natives present on the Honshu map. Don't you have TAD, Harkimo?

Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
Oh... very nice (great subject also). There're some thing you might want to improve, for example:
1. Some of the trees are in front of the units, while the units shine through it with an annoying blue shine. It's possible to remove that shine, it's not a trigger, but a button on the right at the top (don't know exactly where anymore).
2. It's a bit strange to place a bonsai tree so close to a train...
3. The lower left is a bit empty compared to the rest, maybe you can try moving some of the trees covering the units to there (or not).
That's all.

Please, try to use higher graphics settings, the orange tree near the train looks like orange porridge...

I don't mind the empty bit in the bottom left, it gives the picture some balance and calmness.

That one is very special, primarily because of the tree shadows.

Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
I would like to evaluate your work. :lol:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Title: Nederland India Part 1: Malang
Score: 6.5
Comments: Not bad, but some elements are unrealistic or not fitting. The blue of the units shining through the trees also ruins the entire screen.
Title: Sleep by the Buddha
Score: 7.5
Comments: I only have 3 little problems here. First of all, one of the pillars disables you to see the villager entirely. Second of all, there could be more trees on the north-east of the pic. And third of all, well, the font is too large.
Title: The Mist
Score: 7.25
Comments: Well, it is a bit unrealistic. Also, the green grass at the north west (and the land on the bottom) of the pic is an annoying contrast to the mist.
Title: Nederland India Part 2: Chinatown
Score: 9.25
Comments: This one is extremely well. A minor thing is the villagers that actually aren't walking (or are they?). Another thing is the first of the houses on the bottom left that could be angled a bit to the left.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks. :lol:

Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
Hm... a sunny morning in town, I love it!

Title: Nederland Indiƫ Part 3: Surabaya
Score: 8.5
Comments: I like how you accentuated the crowded feeling.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a few negative and not clear to read comments, however:
- These chariots seem to be clashing into each other all together.
- The white line above the title is a bit "heavy" and annoying once you've noticed it. :lol:
- I suggest you to set the Dutch player's age in Age II, the Barracks and Houses would have a more fitting texture.
- Maybe they all had blue and white clothes, but setting the player color to grey or brown feels slightly more natural, I guess.
Ah these are just stupid comments, no match for the positive comments which I'm too lazy to comment about! :lol: (especially some "hidden" features, such as the people sitting on benches waiting for the train to stop)
Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
Number 1 negative comment: Hmm, it is...
Number 2 negative comment: Hmm, are you colorblind? I think no, as it is gray
Number 3 negative comment: Till now, I can't make that trigger work, even just for 1 second! I'm stressed with that... need help there.
Number 4 negative comment: I'll try to do that.
But really, can somebody teach me how to make player age up in the scenario editor?
Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
Let's take a look:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Be sure to set the priority on High (the higher the priority, the faster the trigger will be fired).
No need to change anything...
Select the Player : Set Age as the effect. Age 1 is called as Age 0 here, and goes on until Age 5 is called Age 4. So in order to select Age II, you need to type "1", and not "2" in the Age field.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Easy, isn't it?
Re: Pedro's Eye Candy
I always use TechStatus = Active, and select the ageups manually, I didn't know this was possible as well.
