No, that would be unfair on some of the Ukrainians. The thing is that Ukraine is a very artificial country, and there are massive differences between Ukrainian Galicia in the West, Crimea in the South and Donbas in the East. They don't have a massive influence on the rest of the world though, and the only times we notice something about them is when they fail to pay Russia for its natural gas, and the pipelines to Europe (which go through Ukraine) get shut again. I'd say that happens about three times a year.

And from what I've read, Northern Cyprus seems to just be a Turkish puppet state

In the same way that Southern Cyprus is just a Greek puppet state... Surprised
