Arcalion's Disappearance

Arcalion, the once leader of TFN, as we know, have gone from the forum since March 2nd this year. Since that day he didn’t even visit the mod (TFN), not even War of the Triple Alliance forum. For this evidence, many speculations and conspiracies come. As information, Arcalion or his initial MBC, is learning enginery and the main speculation is he is busy learning it. However, he is not the only modder who is in university level. Peugeot407, or his initial RJF, is in the university (or correctly college) too. WotTA’s godfather, Tahattus, or Mr. LGR is learning medic. But both of them (Peugeot and Tahattus) have times to visit their mod and also WotTA. So then, why Arcalion did not? Is he that super busy so that he can’t visit the mod, not even to say good bye? Here are some comments from TFN members.

For Alex Julio B., the de facto TFN leader for these months, Arcalion was a dreamer, but managed to put his "feet on the ground" and form a new team. Alex believe that the reason of his disappearance is his business with university, where Arcalion studies engineering. The mod has been declining for some time, since it lost its leader, so he decided to take responsibility for him. Daniel and him had only a few textures, so he asked the alpha version of the game and decided to work on it. In all aspects. (He has a lot of work). The last from Alex, the mod continues with or without him!

Daniel Pereira, de facto TFN co-leader, for these months thinks the same way. For him, Arcalion is crazy about uniqueness and flag accuracy. Well, he is a good Colombian guy, and a good mod leader too for Daniel. Beside the reason of busy with study, Daniel has another theory, theory that Arcalion didn’t disappear, instead he hides as one of the forum member.

The last member to answer my question correctly is Victor Roua. This Romanian guy, the ones who lives in the TFN modding area, thinks that Arcalion is quite a leader. For Victor, he is probably one of the most masterful leaders in the whole modding world and he is really proud he was selected to work in his modding crew for about almost one year to date. Victor believes that Arcalion gone because he is busy with his academy, however, hard to be answered correctly. Without Arcalion in the team, everything stays busy. Victor said to me, “I mean, we have both Alex and Daniel as our overseers right in the place of our proper leader, arcalion, and we really don't have to moan much about his sudden disappearance.” He believes that Arcalion will return somehow. Nonetheless, Victor and the team somewhat miss him though…

Some theories that came to my minds are that Arcalion married somebody and makes a family, that Arcalion was, oops, arrested by police, and even death.

Marriage
The theory has some pro and contra clues. Here I will explain every clues.
Pro: Everybody who get married will spent his time more for his wife and family, and usually he will takes honeymoon, sometimes for two or three months.
Contra:
1. Arcalion is around 18 years old or older, but is less than 26, the normal age of marriage for most people.
2. Arcalion never speaks about his girlfriend.

Arrested
The theory has some pro and contra clues too. Here I will explain every clues.
Pro:
1. Arcalion didn’t say good bye, he can’t do that if he is arrested.
2. Arcalion gone for more than four months. Jail can goes up to one years or more.
3. Arcalion is Columbian, no, this one is not a clue at all.
Contra:
1. Arcalion updated his facebook photo recently, at 18th June 2012. He can’t do that if he is arrested.
2. No discomfiture between his friends in facebook.

Caught by FBI or Interpol
There are some reasons for this. Maybe Arcalion did the cword to add 3d models. He tracked and arrested. But hey, who care about adding 3d to AOE III?!

Death
Well, this one is probably impossible too. How can a death man updates his profile photo?

So, why Arcalion went from the forum? Why? Is he learning too hard? That is quite absurd. Learning for four months without taking a rest? Nah, for now we could say this case, Arcalion’s Disappearance is a MYSTERY.

the reason of my dissapear was very easy: i was so busy that at some point i forget the modding and also i was under pressure on my university, i dont have a good laptop for install AOEIII, also i was all the day in the university and when i back to home, i had to study so much, i had some lazy teacher that make me study a lot, and i didnt got a break :/
Also all should know that i bought SC2 original and i havent stopped playing that thing since may, i have played it so long that i cant remember AOEIII ...

The How AOE III Modding is Such a Country

AOE III had many modification made for it. Some are pretty success; some are in its way to be done, while some are defunct. In analogue to politic and nation, mods that have been done and success are first world nations. WotTA and NE for example, can be compared to US, UK, France, etc. Mods that haven’t been done, but is nearly done or “defunct” similar to struggling countries such as most Asian countries, like Indonesia, Vietnam, North Korea, India, etc. The examples are K&B and TFN. However, there are also some nations that are defunct, like most African countries. They might have their success, but now they are no more existing or bankrupt. In example, there is AoC.

Beside that, in the real world we can find some ideas to make a new country. In analogue, there are many modification ideas have been made for AOE III. Well, like in the reality, most of them stay as ideas. Most of them are also bad, make nobody support them. In the real world we can also find some countries led by dumbs, in AOE III we can find some mods led by noobs, like the once TFN under that noob (not you, Arcalion, not you either, Christos) or the once existing TPW.

In the real world, we can also find rebellions, revolutions, coup d’etat, war, and succession. Rebellions in AOE III modding are trials to mod a big mod, without the big mod’s owner agreement. WotTA got this some moments ago, we know who did that. There was also a revolution. This happened in K&B some months ago. I call it the “Harmony Revolution”, a revolutionary idea by Matti/AOE_Fan which changed many things in K&B ideology and constitution. That revolution also made himself into the “prime minister”, made Her Majesty the Queen’s absolute monarch fall, and made King Wladislav a powerless chairman, can only see everything happen.

There were some strange successions and coups too. This one happened in the old TFN. Christos, being a person without modding ability, was seen as somebody who can’t lead a country anymore. So that he leave the country to Arcalion. However, there was a conspiracy done by Arcalion and the people of TFN hate this. So “R” led the people and did a coup against Arcalion, but the nation defunct later. There were also some wars. The Cold War between US and USSR become real in the Ice Tea War between NE and WotTA. And the real succession happened in NE. This is when Alexastor give his crown to his son, Tilanus the Commodore.

In the real world, we also know some black market traders, infiltrator, traitor, etc. Black market traders are those spambots here. While infiltrators are they who enter a country just to make problems, you know one of them. There were also some traitors, but I don’t want to say who they are.

Ah, and don’t forget the government structure. NE is analogue to those absolute monarchs; the current king is Tilanus the Commodore. WotTA is, with all respect, analogue to socialist-communist states. Lord Tahattus is the current and forever shall be chairman. Yet he did a time race to find a new chairman, which is failed. More, K&B was a strange democratic absolute monarch, or oligarch. Even there is two king there, Her Majesty the Queen and King Wladislav, everybody say what they want without rule. Now K&B itself is a constitutional monarch, with their head of nation Her Majesty the Queen and head of government Prime Minister Mathias. TFN is similar to those stewardship countries. Yep, Alex Julio once took the throne for a while when the King of Gondor (eh, TFN) gone. Similar to LOTR, eh?

And regarding mercenaries paid by Gadaffi or the international help for countries who need help, we had some guys who help another mod but is not the member of the mod and we know that some great modders help each other, even if there is an Ice Tea War. There are also some blockades. WotTA for example, forbid some guys who hate his great comrade to help theirself.

Talking about politic, we also have some stubborn politician, some moaners, some arrogant, and some tea guys. And don’t forget the insane liberalist press. We have one there, me.

How to Differ Them: Pepp and Mrs. Nun

This afternoon (GMT+7.00), redaction met two of our senior journalists. They are Herr Pepp, whose full name is Dr. Evil Pepp, and Fraulein Nun, whose real name is Francesca des Sales. They are different, Pepp is not Mrs. Nun and vice versa. However, they are one, a duality known as You Know Who. Sadly, not everyone knows how to differ them, or at least know which personality is online now. But if you want to say that this user used by two guy, you’re wrong. There is just one user, one duality, the You Know Who, but they are two personalities, which we will explain.

Dr. Evil Pepp, known as Herr. Peppness or just Pepp, exist first in the modding world. He exists in NE, K&B, WotTA and anywhere. Personally, this personality is the closest to the user of You Know Who in the real world. Yes, both are spammy, like to laugh out loud, and mad. His similarity with Mrs. Nun is both of them are modder, who works to K&B. Pepp exist inside Mrs. Nun and Mrs. Nun inside Pepp, and they are You Know Who. Pepp is also spammier than Mrs. Nun, being that Mrs. Nun is not a spammer. However, Pepp wrote Fransesca des Sales and Peppic Epic more than Mrs. Nun, despite Fransesca des Sales based on Mrs. Nun’s name. Pepp is also really strict in history and a bit lazy in modding. He likes to learn more and always being Iliander's friend, blindly bound with his old relationship in NE. Also, his hobbies are spamming, making friend with some spammer, and making news. Pepp also saw Matti's Harmony Revolution, which he didn't like for the first time.

Mrs. Nun is known for her habit to be sometimes ignorant. Sometimes she just takes a conclusion of a post from the first sentence, made some guy hate her. Mrs. Nun is also younger than Pepp and is far more faithful. Mrs. Nun doesn’t like to be called with her real name and rarely seen spamming. Yet, she wrote some important thing in Fransesca des Sales and Peppic Epic. Mrs. Nun is also a law enforcer and commie. She is the true moderator personality of You Know Who, contrary to popular belief. She also exist in K&B and WotTA only, while in NE she doesn’t exist. However, despite the fact she is faithful, she is also a commie-dictatorist girl. She likes to just ban guys who did action against law, regardless where they did it. She also, actually, hates competitor and will always trying to demolish them all with makes them doing an action against law. She always hate Iliander, which is contrast to Pepp, and always wanted to be a K&B admin, something that was offered to silly headed Pepp, who rejected it. This is solely just to enforce the team and made a dictatorship government in K&B, which is also contrast to Pepp's democratic belief and also means she supported Matti's Harmony Revolution. Her hobbies are unknown, thanks to her mysterious stance.

But, you might be confused with modding part. How can they mod together? Let us explain. Pepp is also a concept artist, means he has good spatial quotient. Mrs. Nun herself is the photoshop user. So while Pepp draws the concept, Mrs. Nun modify the texture. Both of them, however, often forgot to make bumpmap, which is their weakness.

And how with their relation each other? No one really know this. Some said that Mrs. Nun personality is the daughter of Pepp personality, while some said they are sibling. The other said they are couple or just something else. Who know? One more silly question: Are they coexist?

You forgot a recent thing, do you hear talking about those guys in the WotTA Spanish forum trying to do a mod?, well, their government should be represented as "noob democracy" because in that mod or in that new forum they created, anyone participates, but they all are completely noobs. And, btw, their mod will not be a country, would be a "noobish ideal" because all they have are lot of spreaded ideas, but anyone of them can make it true.
