i have sketched historical, semi-fantasy cavalry units, foot units, buildings equipment, clothing, animals, flora etc.

Photo shop
beginner (basic altering textures, exporting to max, flash).

3ds max 9
beginner (cert. iii screen) made a few static objects, applying textures w/minimal effects, simple anims of animal features on movie type thousand poly models. etc.

No exp. modding games... I know where to find the game files, textures and models.

I'm highly motivated to be part of the team, there must be some buildings, units, terrain that need putting into Quintessence. Or final stages of Prologue.

It's certainly interesting... You can be sure we'll consider it.

I don't know if you guys already are filled up in this department, but I have a wealth of knowledge on medieval topics, a passion for history and AOE3, and a little spare time. If I can help in any way for research purposes, I'll do what I can.

We very much appreciate that, but we tend to be a bit cautious about having too many researchers/historians in the team. Since at the moment we've got an excellent one in Synecdoche, I don't think we'd be needing your services, I'm afraid.

Playtester applications are not open right now, as far as I know. I imagine such positions will open up prior to the release of the Quintessence.

Perhaps. We won't be needing any playtesters right now, that's certain, and even if you could convince us that translations are necessary, which seems unlikely, your English skills are, with all due respect, a bit doubtful for somebody who'd spend his time translating things from English to Portuguese... I'm afraid then that, as much as we like you coming forward with this, we won't be having any use for you in the team, so we must decline.
