Re: The History Thread
Well both.., But drawing done by many ancient civilizations do indicate that there were some... contact made with others. Some with helmets, and technology more advanced then those of the respective civilization. I'm no expert on it, but my brother has seen these, and they do look a lot like ancient civilizations had some contact with, well we can call them aliens. But to me, they could be neighboring tribes, or other civilizations at the time.
Re: The History Thread
Will do, I'll gather my the great Canadian Moose Brigade, those aliens are no match for our mooses..... eh.
Re: The History Thread

Re: The History Thread
Oh this is very interesting, thank you Hoop!
@Paco: No need to hate them, who says that "aliens" (beings who do not come from earth, so it can also be "gods") are bad?
The time has come, that we need to look at those "myths" with modern eyes, and stop the ignoring behavior!
Indeed, but saying they're neighboring tribes doesn't make sense (for me at least), because they ALSO spoke of neighboring tribes, so then why would they call other neighboring tribes "beings who came down from the heavens to earth in flying chariots which created mankind with their own blood"? When they are clearly speaking about them coming form the sky, and descending from the stars, you should not ignore that part, and change it to let it sound like neighboring tribes.Well both.. , But drawing done by many ancient civilizations do indicate that there were some... contact made with others. Re: The History Thread
Iliander, as I said, was no expert on this matter, this is just what I know from what my brother tells me. If their ancient scripts say of beings coming down on flying chariots, then we can make assumptions that their either "sights" of their gods, or they could be advance civilizations from outer space. This point has many truths to it, because I refuse to believe that this planet can have life on it, out of all others in the endless universe.
Re: The History Thread
Iliander, time has come to look upon this spam with modern eyes. In fact, the time has been right for a while now. I'm not going to warn you again (well, not now), but do please take the usual rules about An Nun Naki in regard.

Re: The History Thread
The heian period is awesome. I just love learning about it. Absolutely fascinating it is. Also the warring states period is just incredible. I did a whole year on Japanese history, including modern stuff.
