National personifications

Lets have some activity in here... Has anybody here seen the anime and manga Hetalia? Its characters are nations and tells their stories during WW2. Lets make our own national personification (You can make which ever you want, but better don´t do your own country) I'll start with Serbia as an example.

Nation: Serbia
Gender: Male
Human name: Janko Kovačević
Description He is a tall, strong young man with dark hair and has lots of scars in his face. He used to be a really violent, agressive and possesive guy; buit nowadays he tries to clean his name and acts in a humble and friendly way. He has always been in love with his sister Croatia, but his agressive personality mede her hate him.

So... something like this, start!

Heh, Serbia, why it had to be Serbia? Since I heard this I can't relate Serbia to anything else...

Human name: (Ibu) Pertiwi [Mother Earth]
Description: She is a woman. No further explanation ever made. However, a statue near the National Monument portray her as Srikandi, which is well known in Indonesia. I myself portray her as someone like Tien Soeharto or Fatmawati Sukarno.

Human Name: Pablo Rodríguez
Description: He's strong, young man and has a lot of injuries in his body. He is rich but he doesn't do anything to take advantage of it, because his corrupted mind and lack of discipline make him a lazy guy, he likes to do easy jobs for lots of money (who doesn't?). Actually he's kind of confused and has troubles with himself. Years ago he usually fought with his siblings, Venezuela and Ecuador.

Human Name: Ion Stănescu
Personality: He is really superstitious guy. He loves his folklore (but specially he loves talking with others about it), and he is a great storyteller. He also feels lonley sometimes, being the only latin in eastern europe. He´s Spain, Italy, Portugal and France third cousin.
Appearance: He is a caucasic thin guy, with red eyes and a (a bit) long,blonde hair.

What do you think about it?

Description: He is a lonley man, that (altough shown as a pacific nation) loves weapons, and in the past he loved working as a mercenary for the other nations. He really likes cheese, and he is very stingy and always saves as much money as he can.

Appearance: He's a old, big ghost
Personality: He is a dead man that nowadays only crosses between the walls of a new and and changed world, he used to be, centuries ago, the most powerful man in the world, but now he is only lost in a confusing world, comunist.

He's also a fervent Communist, actually... It seems Soviet doctrine did work on the steppes, while eventually failing everywhere else...
