People are saying that America is the most corrupt country in the world, but they would be wrong and they don't know how good they have it.

britian is even worse than America at survielence, they have a camera on every street corner in the country.

also britian doesn't have a bill of rights.

this is standard for many European countries.

China is even worse than the Europeans, and North Korea is the worst.

Latin American countries are a hold out for republicanism, with America struggling to hold onto its republicanism while some people...cough cough Obama...are allowing it to become like Europe with Obama annoncing that he supports Americans making sacrifies for the safety of all from terrorism in support of the NSA's PRISM, Obama administration still hasn't repealed the Patriot Act like Obama promissed to, Obama administration has done nothing to control the Fed and make the Fed more transparent like Obama said he would make government more transparent, Obama said he would cut the DoD's budget for fighting wars but the only thing that got cut from the DoD was the GI bill due to the sequester, and Obama said he would help education but schools in Chicago were forced to close because they stopped receiving funding due to the sequester.

So it looks like what Obama really values in the NSA spying on everyone, the DoD fighting wars, and the federal government controlling as many things as possible, NOTHING to do with education. He lied to you all and he is a corrupt man that should be impeached.

No bill of rights, yeah... Just because it doesn't carry the same name doesn't mean it's non-existant.

Also, placing CCTV cameras in plain sight and allowing the public to object to said cameras filming private property is rather something else than breaking the privacy of people that are not citizens of the country in question. If the NSA had kept itself confined to spying on US citizens, nobody would mind, the very problem is that they're spying on non-Americans...

Well you do have a point there...

However it would be even worse if America had as many closed circuit TVs at the brits have.

I've seen cameras that are definitely not red light cameras (red light cameras are big and boxy and these cameras look like the black ball closed circuit television cameras in stores)

These black ball cameras I have seen put up on almost half of the stop lights on every county maintained road in my county.

I first noticed them one week after the boston Marathon bombing.

Well maybe you guys will like this song that just had its music video uploaded yesterday in perfect timing for Independence Day today:

Also, just to clarify, while there are lots of government operated CCTV cameras in Britain, they do only film what goes on on public roads, which also happen to be owned by the government. It's not really any different from a shopkeeper hanging a camera in his shop...

but when your shop is on that road...then are you suggesting that the government owns your shop?
