This is a list of all known bugs present in the latest version of Knights and Barbarians. We try to avoid them as much as we can, but if you manage to find any bugs, please report them here. Before you do so, however, make sure you have the latest version of Knights and Barbarians with any patches installed that might be available.   • Important: Sometimes building and unit textures fail, and the building or unit will look like it wasn't retextured at all. This is a known bug affecting all AoE3 mods, and as of yet there is no known way of reliably fixing it.
  • Several UI pieces are not yet included.
  • Several home cities are not yet finished. Some even look nothing like they will.
  • Some units do not yet have portraits and icons.
  • Skirmisher portrait has no alpha channel.

Here's a couple of bugs I noticed:

- The trade route still has the travois, stagecoach and train
- When other players reach the next age, the announcements still mention the old age names

Other than that the mod is looking fantastic! Unfortunately I wasn't able to play a full game because my computer started lagging, but I'd say that's because of my rubbish computer, not because of the mod.

The lag issue is actually something we noticed as well, we'll try to find a solution to it. Could you tell us something about the game you were playing when the lag occured? Just the name of the map and all the civs that were in it would be of immense help.

I also came to comment on the lag thing.
My computer never has lag problems with AoE3 normally, so we can be sure that isn't the problem, I also lowered graphics and the problem didn't solve.

I was playing with byzantines against turks in Anatolia (of course) and it started happening around fortress age I believe, can't remember exact game time.

Out of personal experience my guess would be that it's a trigger that's causing problems...

I've got the issue as well, and like you, I've never had any problems with either AoE3 or WotTA. I played a game with the Saracens where the lag was present, and then one with the Crusaders where it wasn't present, but that may have just been coincidence.

This lag issue seems to be a phantom bug that chooses if/when to pop up. Matti and I haven't encountered it, so it might be a squirrely one.

As I said, out of personal experience, it's got to be a trigger you forgot to pack in the download, wich would explain why some team-members ain't suffering it, the last time I had lag that bad was due to that.

Oh, and while I'm here, there's a weird mess with the byzantine villager voicsesets, some male variants speak like female and vice-versa.

Also, this is more of a balance issue, are Castle and Storehouse cards repeatable on last age intended?

I really have no idea about this whole lag thing as I haven't experienced it at all. It could be map related but Anatolia doesn't have triggers firing in the middle of game...

Yeah, we already know about that one, guess it's only written down in the team forum. As for the second, if you're talking about Imperial Age, the Castles should be repeatable but the Storehouses shouldn't. We should put that up.

If it was a missing trigger file, the map wouldn't probably load at all. If I remember correctly, Armenia has only Typeloader and Cheat Database enabled, which are the two basic trigger files.

When the lagging occurred I was playing on Crete large with all five factions (I was playing as the Byzantines).

ESO doesn't work for many mods, I don't think. Voobly and Gameranger should work, as far as I know.

Another bug I noticed: Sometimes you can't place a trading post in a naval socket. I was playing on the Bosporus map, and I could place a trading post in one of the sockets, but not the other one.

This is a really big problem!

In every multiplayer game (Gameranger, Hamachi, ESO) i get this **** bug!
When its raining or the AI is aged up to age 2 all the civs are aged to age 5 directly!?
Pleas K&B team fix to so quikly possible !

The naval trade route sockets are sometimes not working, indeed. I have tried to fix them, it still happens at times.
The auto-ageupping might happen due to non-existing Post-Industrial and Post-Imperial techs. I'll check the rain code as well, as it might have sometging to do with it as well.
