Native Settlements
Firstly, I'd like to say "hello" to all forum members (especially the K&B Team).
I registered mainly because I'd like to ask about the new native settlements (I'm not sure if you guys gave to them another name), since I was unable to find information about them on this forum.
They will be present? If yes, who will be they?

Re: Native Settlements
Welcome to our forums! The K&B Team loves to get new fans, and we really appreciate questions about K&B.
The Natives will be changed into Barbarians, well, not all of those Barbarians actually were barbarians, but they were empires which were of importance earlier in timeline. I'm not going to call names yet, because I'll leave that to Peugeot.

Re: Native Settlements
Very much welcome indeed!
As iliander correctly pointed out, we will call subcivs 'Barbarians', mostly to tie in with the name of the mod. As a general rule they're 'empires of old', meaning essentially that they would have had their golden age between the Fall of Rome and the First Crusade. Some examples are the Franks, Goths, Huns, Sudanese, Persians and Celts

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.

Re: Native Settlements
These barbarians (I still prefer to call them natives) at least appear in Prologue: Jews, Nizari, Kwarazmian, Persian, Sudanese, Berbers, Huns and Avars. There might be more, but I'm not sure (I'm just a RM Scripter...).

Re: Native Settlements
Thanks, AOE_Fan. Now I am sure I need to change my glasses, since I was not able to find this thread before...
The Barbarian units (and bonuses) are already defined?
And the main civs? They can send shipments of Barbarians units from their Home Cities?

The units are already defined. But with those bonuses, do you mean techs? If so, I don't think all of them are defined already. The Barbarian units (and bonuses) are already defined?
Yes, they will for sure. And the main civs? They can send shipments of Barbarians units from their Home Cities?

I have the ability to mix some words when I'm busy.
Is there something about the Barbarians that I don't know?

Re: Native Settlements
There's a lot. As usual, the team knows more than it's willing to tell.
One thing I can tell you is that, like in AoC, every subciv will get their own flag, which will be in the settlement grouping, so you can instantly see which Barbarian civ you're dealing with, without the need to hover your cursor over the socket. That is, once you've learned to identify the flags. I might post one, then you can guess which subciv it's for.

Re: Native Settlements
Not much different from WotTA .There's a lot. As usual, the team knows more than it's willing to tell.
The flag in the settlement was a really convenient feature from AoC (I liked the native Armenian knight. Too bad I can't remember his name right now). One thing I can tell you is that, like in AoC, every subciv will get their own flag, which will be in the settlement grouping, so you can instantly see which Barbarian civ you're dealing with, without the need to hover your cursor over the socket.
Then do it. I'm willing to try to... "Guess the Barbarian".I might post one, then you can guess which subciv it's for.

Re: Native Settlements
I'm sorry, but you shouldn't "command" Peugeot , revealing game content isn't just available for request. Then do it. I'm willing to try to... "Guess the Barbarian".

Re: Native Settlements
I am requesting nothing from him, iliander (and not even "commanding" him).
Also, if he doesn't want to show something, I'll certainly respect his decision.

Re: Native Settlements
That was hard...
From the flag color and the symbol pattern, I would say the flag is Celt.
If I guessed wrong, I'll wait until the release of Prologue to know the answer (that is, if the Barbarian that uses this flag is included).

That's Celts indeed. They won't appear in Prologue though.

Re: Native Settlements
At least I managed to guess correctly (at first, I thought the flag was Frankish).
Thank you all for having the patience to answer my questions.
