Well, I would, if my network would work properly. The internet connection goes sometimes off for a minute and then goes back up! Now, thats annoying!

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
Devise a strategy is called, control of ages.
6 settlers begin with and only go up when they get boxes of food (100 food = 1 settler) 6 more for each age, the Imperial is 12, when 50 settlers arrived at under half the number (from 6 to 3)
And attack is 8, in the colonial population (8 boobies, 4husars, etc.). At the age of the fortresses are 10, in the industrial are 12, the Imperial is 18 and up from 6 to 6.
and make a base in front of my enemies not to suffer economic damage (1 outpost, artillery foundry, stable, barracks and a fort last

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
not expensive at all. I hate piraters as well
Walls are not a necessity, but they do help, I only use them if I can back them up with some forts, outposts and cav in case of enemy artillery. I play most games with walls, but when I don't they end quickly with me being a winner as I am forced to attack back without a maxed out army, but I still overwhelm my opponents defences .

Sometimes I train outlaws, but rarely train mercenaries. My favorite outlaw is pirate and wokou ronnin.

Too expensive for me, as my economy is always focused on food.

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
In Age V, at a point you should have about at least 30.000 of each resource, be sure to have at least 70 Settlers, 30 Settlers on Plantations, 30 on Mills and 10 on Wood + 2 Factories on wood, then when you have enough wood (about 30.000), stop gathering wood and place those 10 Settlers on coin or food. Also be sure (when you attack) to have about 250/200 population, this can be done with sending Mercenaries when you only have 1 pop space left, and of course sending the Royal Decree techs which give you free men. And yes, Elmeti and Highlanders are must-have mercenaries, but Ronin Samurais too. But if you play British, the Highlander is the best, because you can "upgrade" them with the Blackwatch tech in the Church after sending the Royal Decree card from the HC.
And about the Walls... It depends on how your strategy is, if you want to rush and try to defeat the opponent in 10-20 minutes, don't waste your time on building walls, maybe only to protect some Settlers. But if you are playing a FFA game, or just a very long 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 game, you should AT LEAST have a triple Wall around your whole base, maybe even more. And of course, upgrade the Walls.

Imperial Cannon, then send them escorted by Rodeleros and Lanceros down to the enemy and make mincemeat of them.

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
No, it trains WAAAY too slow, use your Factories for resources. And just build 2 Artillery Foundries to train 10 Falconets (or Horse Artillery) at a time.

No, still the Cannon. Use Trade Routes/allies/villagers for resources.

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
TRade Routs, lol? Set them on Experience in Imperial Age, the resources it gives you is nothing. And those Cannon are a waste of pop.

Re: AoE3 Strategy Topic
They may be good, but if you need a quick army, you are better of with 20 Falconets.
But Culverins are a piece of shit.
