Nice civilizations
I agree with the civs, but I investigate more units:
For the bizatines:Trebizond archers,Lathinkon,Varadotai,Skythinkon.
For the Turks:janissary,Ghazi,Turkomanos,Azab.
I have a question about the civs. if it would have mor civilizations of Europe?
Like the Spanish Empire or the Al-Andalus.
Poland,Holy Roman Empire,France,Venetians.
Sorry of my vocabulary, i don't speak english very well.

Re: Nice civilizations
1st of all, welcome!
That's no problem.
I do have the answer to that, but I don't know if I'm at liberty to say.ElAlmugavar wrote:

Re: Nice civilizations
Why not? I don't think it's top secret (you can even find it on our AoE3H thread) that the eventual release of Knights and Barbarians will have 14 civs:
-Byzantines (obviously the Byzantine Empire)
-Mongols (Golden Horde)
-Spanish (United Kingdoms of Leon and Castille)
-Vikings (Kingdom of Denmark)
-English (Duchy of Normandy)
-Italians (Most Serene Republic of Venice)
-French (House of Valois)
-Slavs (Kingdom of Poland)
-Saracens (Salah-al-Din's Dominions)
-Moors (Caliphate of Cordoba)
-Turks (quite generic, so it's up to your imagination whether they're the Seljuks or the Ottomans)
-Flemish (Duchy of Flanders)
-Germans (Holy Roman Empire)
-Crusaders (Kingdom of Jerusalem)
Welcome to these forums, and you'll probably be delighted to know the Spanish will get a unique unit called the Almughavar, a replacement for the anti-archer units other civs get...

Re: Nice civilizations
Sorry peugeot, i mistoke i forgot the civs in the K&B thread:
What time are you talking about?
because i know the barbarians existed in the times of the estern and western roman empire.
but it doesn't matter.
i investigated units for the spanish:Almugavar,conquistador,tercio pikemen,garrochista,moors guard,castillian guard,rodeleros(XVI century times of carlosV).for te polish:polish nobles,berdiches axemen.
for the moors:tuaregs riders,camel gunner,grenadine cav.,moors guard.

Re: Nice civilizations
Polish nobles are szlachta I have never heard of a "berdiches axemen" though. Besides most of the Slavs UU's will be cavalry.ElAlmugavar wrote:

Re: Nice civilizations
conquistador good
tercio pikemen good ( could be teamed with a tercio musketeer.)
garrochista sure
moors guard I think this should be a merc
castillian guard Ah ok more info?
rodeleros(XVI century times of carlosV).These work as rodeleros are more appropriate for this time

Re: Nice civilizations
I believe the idea was for the Spanish to have three unique units:
-Almughavar: Javelin armed counter-archer that deals lots of damage and moves at high speed. Very vulnerable in melee. (replacement for Skirmisher)
-Jinete: Ranged cavalry unit that throws javelins and moves at very high speed. Can stand its ground in melee better than most ranged cavalry (replacement for Cavalry Archer)
-Conquistador: Cavalry unit that offers a good compromise between speed and hitpoints. Armed with a sword (replacement for Light Cavalry)
Tercios and Rodeleros could be unique upgrades. The Moor Guard wouldn't make much sense, considering the Moors are another full civilisation in K&B.

I agree with Synagogue (I am also Jewish) since Israel is the only Jewish country, I feel that it is right to make it so.

Re: Nice civilizations
I did think of a Freedom of Religion idea, but that was for Slavs because the Kingdom of Poland allowed freedom of religion.
Re: Nice civilizations
still I think that there should be some Jewish representation in AoE

Re: Nice civilizations
Of course, but the Crusaders wouldn't be the place to start because most of them are Catholic. Poland had religious freedom since 1264 so I was thinking you could chose your religion via a politician system, and then you get the building corresponding with that religion.
Re: Nice civilizations
You could use this on the crusaders too cuz the jewish and muçulmans could pray on their religion places( but should pay some taxes for that)

I agree with The Dude's idea before about choosing a religion, but there would have to be significant differences between religious bonuses
